UltimateOz offers a comprehensive start to your Australian working holiday visa experience. In your first week, you’ll meet fellow travellers in Sydney and prepare for work with our Gap Year Essentials and Job Help. This package also includes a second week at our ULTIMATE Surfcamp, just three hours from Sydney. After 12 days, you’ll be equipped to find work, will have forged lifelong friendships, and potentially learned to surf like a local!

SURF CAMP INCLUSIONS

5 days of Surfing
4 nights shared accommodation
Eight 2-hour lessons
All Meals - Tasty buffet meals including Aussie BBQs Surf at Australia’s best learn-to-surf beach, 7-Mile Beach Gerroa (only 2 hours from Sydney)
Friendly, fully qualified surf coaches
Free Photos 4 nights is spent in multi share arrangements in our purpose bulit Surf Camp, meters from the beach. The property features a swimming pool, hot showers, hammocks, internet, laundry and cafe. Rooms are 6 berth.
All meals are included at Surf Camp. Vegetarian options are also available along with any other special dietary requests.
At Surf Camp you will use our warm and comfortable Rip Curl wetsuits and custom designed beginner softboards.
All equipment is current technology and in excellent condition. SPF 30+ water resistant sunscreen is also provided.
Luxury, air-conditioned coach transportation is provided for all of your travel. Surf Camp is only 130km from Sydney, an easy 2 hour drive!

The combo does not include:

International Flights,
Travel Insurance

Things to know:

You can participate in the Group tours in any order.
As you are booking a Group Tour combo, your group for each tour may change. Not all travellers on your tours will be travelling to both destinations.
Tour dates are subject to availability
You might have free time in between tour end and start dates where you are free to add extra nights or do your own arrangements.

We recommend a daily spending budget of approximately $50 -75 AUD per day.

ULTIMATE OZ 1 WEEK TOUR ITINERARY

The UltimateOz Australia Gap Year package is the best way to start your Working Holiday in Australia! Your arrival week is jam-packed with social activities while we arrange everything you need to start work in Australia and settle into life Down Under with ease. You’ll experience UltimateOz Australia Gap Year with a group of new mates and a fun, experienced guide. Check out the itinerary here.

SURF CAMP ITINERARY

This 5 day Ultimate Surf Camp includes surfing lessons every day and is designed for beginners. You’ll be taught everything you need to know – paddling, standing up, dropping into waves and riding across them. Accommodation is just minutes from the beach! Sleep in comfy cabins with hot showers, internet and a pool. All meals are included. Surfing makes you hungry and you’ll be provided plentiful, tasty and healthy meals to meet your appetite. CAN I BOOK THE COMBO IN ANY ORDER

Yes - you are free to book and confirm your travel in any order that suits your travel arrangements. You may choose to travel to Bali first, or travel to Bali second, after the East Coast tour. You can make your selection during the booking process.

CAN I BOOK EXTRA NIGHTS?

If you need additional nights before or after your Ultimate Oz tour, just add them to your booking when you checkout. Not sure if you need extra nights? Get in touch to chat with a member of the crew before or after you book. If you are arriving early into Sydney or want to explore more of the harbour city before starting your trip, feel free to contact us and we can help you book the best activities!

CAN YOU HELP ME ORGANISE FLIGHTS & INSURANCE?

We are unable to book flights, but we always recommend using online search engines to research the best available flight routes, prices and times. To ease your experience, we suggest booking via a Travel Agent or directly with your preferred airline.

Travel insurance is required to participate in this tour. We recommend that you find and compare various policies to ensure you have an appropriate level of coverage for you adventure. Not sure where to start? You can find some trusted Travel Insurers here.

CAN I TRAVEL WITH SPECIAL DIETARY REQUIREMENTS?

In most cases, we can cater to Vegetarian and Gluten Free diets. We will make every effort to cater to all other diets and needs, but we are unable to guarantee this will be possible in every location we visit. Unfortunately we can not cater for tastes or dislikes. We will ask you to re-confirm any dietary requirements with your Group Leader at the start of your trip.

CAN I TRAVEL WITH A MEDICAL CONDITION?

If you have an existing medical condition or disability that may affect your trip or how we deliver our experience, we ask that you inform us in writing at the time of your booking. You may be asked to obtain a medical certificate and if we reasonably feel we are unable to accommodate your particular needs, we reserve the right to decline your booking.

WHAT WILL HAPPEN AFTER A TOUR?

If you’re unsure of what to do after your package ends, talk to your leader or drop us an email or give us a call – we’re happy to give you recommendations on what to do next!

IS TRAVEL INSURANCE REQUIRED?

Yes. It is mandatory that you travel with a comprehensive travel insurance policy to cover the likes of cancellation, personal injury and medical expenses. By joining us on tour, you acknowledge that you have obtained a policy and are covered. You are responsible for reading and understanding the details of the policy that you are taking out. You should book your travel insurance at the time of booking your trip.

Once selected and added to your ‘Shopping Cart’, you will be promoted to select any extras followed by selecting an additional Group Tour. Simply go on to select SURF CAMP and your preferred tour date (Before or After your Surf Camp tour date) then add this to your cart. Note that your discount will automatically apply once both tours are added to your cart. You will go on to recieve a booking confirmation for both tours.

TOUR COMBO INFORMATION

Making your tour combo booking is easy! The UltimateOz week will always take place first and begin on the Monday date that you select and book via the website. Your Surfcamp will begin on the following Monday. You will go on to receive a booking confirmation for both tours.

MAKING YOUR BOOKING

To make your booking, select your chosen departure date and any optional extras you would like to book. If you are unsure about optional extras or if you need additional accommodation before or after your tour, you can let us know later via email. If you have a travel date in mind but you’re not ready to pay in full, you can secure your spot with a $200 deposit. We’ll send you a booking confirmation as well as important information about your tour. Your final payment is due 45 days before your tour date and you will be sent an automatic reminder. You can make payments on your tour balance sooner or regularly via our website here. A non refundable 1.8% booking processing fee applies to each booking.
BOOKING WITH CONFIDENCE

Booking with ULTIMATE is easy! We take payments securely via Mastercard or Visa Credit and Debit Card and we will charge you in Australian Currency (AUD). Your deposit is always flexible and if you can no longer travel, you can save your deposit for a later trip or destination, or even gift it to a mate to use anytime in the future.
